Happy Thanksgiving!

Just wanted to send over a hearty “Happy Thanksgiving!” from the team. We hope you have a wonderful long weekend full of family, friends, football, and, of course, delicious food.

In that spirit, I thought I’d share a simple and delicious recipe you may want to add to your table’s lineup. Let me know if you give it a try — it’s always a crowd-pleaser!

Maple-Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon (Serves 6)

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 4 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Place Brussels sprouts in a single layer in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and maple syrup; toss to coat. Sprinkle with bacon; season with salt and pepper. Roast in the preheated oven until bacon is crispy and Brussels sprouts are caramelized, about 45 minutes, stirring halfway through.

(Fun fact: 77% of people refer to the tasty green veggies as “Brussel sprouts,” when the correct term is, in fact, “Brussels sprouts,” after Belgium’s capital city.)

Enjoy — and Happy Thanksgiving!
